The question raised by yesterday’s post is just who will be paying the increased MSPs? Statscan can give us a rough idea by breaking out the number of people at various income levels in BC:

This data doesn’t include all of the government workers who don’t have to pay MSPs, and other quirks (such as number of children, household size) but it does look like quite a few people will be paying more.
